On behalf of our client, a large distributor of specialist materials to niche sectors on a global scale, Stafforce are recruiting for an experienced Despatch Operative to be based at their site near to Sheffield city centre.
Duties:
Processing goods in
Moving stock with FLTs and pallet trucks etc
Packing
Loading & unloading trucks with FLTs
Housekeeping duties
Assisting with perpetual stock take
De-burring and etching products (on an occasional basis)
Skills required:
Counterbalance fork lift truck licence holder
Multi-directional fork lift truck licence holder
Overhead crane and slinging certificate
Good work ethic including attendance / health & safety / quality / team work / positive attitude / attention to detail
Steel industry experience
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, day shift: 08:00-16:30
Company uniform and PPE provided. This role is temporary to permanent after 12 weeks.
