Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: St Helens

• Salary: 38,000-42,000 + overtime = earnings of 45,000 and upwards achievable
• Shift Pattern: 4on 4off – 2 days, 2 nights 4off with 18 days off in a row at the end of a 7 week period
• Overtime rates: 1.5
• Benefits: up to 5% pension company contribution, Canteen, Uniform

Skills required:

• A strong background within an electrical maintenance role within a manufacturing/industrial/engineering environment or similar

Key responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• To maintain service and repair all plant machinery to minimise production down time.

The ideal Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:

• Competent reading control circuit/schematic/engineering diagrams
• Knowledge/experience with Proximity switches
• Knowledge/experience with DC/AC Drives
• Knowledge/experience with Working with sensors
• Knowledge/experience with Control systems
• Knowledge of safety circuits, Invertors, how relays operate, speed control systems
• A mechanical engineering understanding would be advantageous – gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics
• Knowledge of PLC's advantageous
• Electrically qualified – Must be able to present these at interview

Location: St Helens Commutable from: Preston, Wigan, Bolton, Leigh, St Helens and surrounding areas.
