Immigration Solicitor

One of south London’s most successful multi-disciplinary law firms currently has an excellent opportunity for an experienced ‘Immigration Solicitor’ to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Handling a caseload of immigration matters, including but not limited to visa applications, asylum claims, and appeals.

• 
  

  Providing legal advice and representation to clients in immigration proceedings.

• 
  

  Conducting legal research and staying updated on changes in immigration law and policy.

• 
  

  Drafting legal documents, including applications, affidavits, and submissions.

• 
  

  Communicating with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

• 
  

  Collaborating with other members of the legal team and supporting colleagues as needed.

• 
  

  Maintaining accurate records and documentation of client matters.

Requirements:

• 
  

  Qualified Solicitor (at least 3-4 years PQE)

• 
  

  Proven experience in immigration law, with a strong knowledge of UK immigration laws and procedures.

• 
  

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• 
  

  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• 
  

  Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• 
  

  Experience working with fee sharing arrangements preferred but not required.

• 
  

  Local to Croydon or willing to relocate.

• 
  

  Fee Sharing basis- Fee/ percentage will be discussed at the end of the interview based on the qualifications, skills and the interview performance
