Private Client Solicitor (Contentious Probate Matters) (4)

A growing and well established London law firm with offices in Stratford, central London and Croydon is looking to recruit a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 -3 years of experience specialising in contentious probate matters in the UK.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage a caseload of contentious probate matters from inception to resolution.
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients on inheritance disputes, contested wills, and estate administration issues.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and negotiations on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals, such as barristers and experts, to strengthen case arguments.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on case progress and address their concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards in all aspects of case management.

 Requirements:


  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience specialising in contentious probate matters in the UK.
  • Solid understanding of UK laws and procedures related to probate, inheritance, and estate disputes.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and resolving complex contentious probate cases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to handling diverse caseloads and challenging situations.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and client service.
