I am currently recruiting for a non-profitable company who are looking for a Business Development Manager to cover the South East of England. The company are driven by their values, not by steak holders. My client enables the growth of businesses by creating jobs and improving the economy. They help companies in the UK to become high performance workplaces. You will be expected to ENHANCE PROCESSES, DEVELOPE EMPLOYEES and REFIN LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT. It will be your job to SUPPORT BUSINESS GOALS.

ROLE:
To work with Local Enterprise Partnership's across the South East of England in offering services and products to enable their business to grow. The main service is offering Trainers with the right skill set to improve training and investments into companies, creating the company to expand and create more jobs for the economy.
You will need to cold call SME businesses and if you have a portfolio of SME businesses to target this will give you a starting point. The SME businesses that my client are targeting will be mainly in the manufacturing industry and you will be working to tight deadlines and targets with set KPI's.
You must be driven, ambitious, enjoy a challenge and be career driven to succeed.
You will travel between various branches, which are located around the South East of England.
This is a fixed term contract, which will be reviewed in March 2020. My client is looking at gaining more funding which will enable them to extend the contract for another 4 years.
It is important that you have a good understanding of government funding and schemes available which will be offered to the SME businesses you target, to help develop their business and create more jobs for the region.
If you have dealt with the chamber of commerce or have been networking with contacts from the LEP or Government bodies, you stand a good chance of hitting the ground running in this role.
